We landed in Oz 2 days ago and met up with Mike and Mary (Neil's parents). We briefly saw Sydney (Harbour Bridge, Hyde Park etc). We then travelled up the East coast To Port Macquarie. We stopped off in Buladellah for lunch, which is a small town that looks a bit like it is from the Wild West!! We then stopped off at Elizabeth Bay and saw a lovely sandy beach and saw 3 dolphins.
We have wondered around Port Macquarie today, this also has some beautiful beaches. The weather is really nice - warm and has bright blue skies. This evening we are going on a sunset cruse around the bay.
We drove inland to Comboyne, which is a mountain town West of Port Macquarie. It was very windy but glorious sunshine. We visited waterfalls and saw great views over the coast. We also saw a lot of kangeroos bouncing around the countryside, which was really good.
This morning we went whale watching, we saw about 5 whales that came in really close to land. On the way back we saw a lot of dolphins playing too.
