Saturday 19th July -

Went on a day trip to Mount Fuji today. Was picked up by bus at 8.10am and had 3 hour drive. Got there and couldn't even see much of the mountain because of the cloud. Bit dissapointing but the mountain scenery was really nice.

After seeing the mountain we went to have lunch at Hakone Lake Hotel and then onto Hakone where we went on the sky gondola. This is where you can see volcanic mountains. Then onto Owakudani valley where you can see steam escaping from mountains of Owakudani.

We then had a 30 min cruise along Lake Ashi - a beautiful mountain lake where I believe Tony Blair stayed when he was here.

Finally - Returned home by coach - arriving back over 12 hours after leaving.
