Where my journey began, landing at Gatwick airport July 12th 2010 where I met Nanny and Poppy and uncle Fred who collected me from the airport and took me to my mothers home town, Maidestone, Kent where she grew up for the first 10years of her life.
After one week there I found myself already on a train to the busy city of London to meet cousin Holly for the afternoon.
We went to buckingham palace then headed to Kings Cross on "The underground" for the first time.
At Kings Cross Starbucks my journey began with Christopher Morrison my now partner since August 18th 2010.
Chris took me on his personal tour of London. We watched entertainment along the Thames we went to all the icon tourist attractions of london such as Palace of Westminister, St Stephens Tower (we know as "Big Ben"), London Eye, Tower bridge and the not ao impressive London bridge, Trafalgar Square and more... After hours of walking my feet were sore already I had to buy £1 thongs ("flip flops") because my newly purchased sandals weren't doing me justice.
We had a nice meal out then headed to rest our feet from a big day at "The Cally Pally" Chris's flat on Caledonian Road.
Since meeting Chris he took me on many journeys of London so it was time I took him on some journeys so we headed to Maidestone for a family lunch, yep you read correctly he met just about all the English family (brave) and not just the ones in Kent we also visited Anita, Jarod, Natia and Karrie for the first time in Devon, Paignton.
Having an amazing time we went back to Paignton for Christmas 2010 and 2011. More on that soon... :-)
Still in London 15/02/2012 we have seen and done so much.
Summary -
October 2010 Contiki tour with Ashleigh Forbes my cousin.
Chris being the sweetheart he is and having the advantage of being a train trip away from places like Paris tool me for my 22nd birthday to Paris for the weekend... More on that in Weekend in Paris...!
We also went to Venice for his 31st birthday and to camden Lock for New year 2011
Hogmanay Scotland for New Year 2012.
Can life really be summed up?
