Why isn't tallness a recognised disability?
Up at 6 for the Tongario River Crossing, dam thing was cancelled due to bad weather. Bo11ocks, its not often im actually excited by the prospect of walking for 8 hours.
Had a chilling day, both in terms of the description of my activities and the weather. Met up with the couple for dinner @7 and we went to a place serving food with a mexican theme. Everyone who served us was English.
After dinner we went to the bar where we ate the previous evening and Nicola's bf instructed the barman on how to make a long island iced tea. It didn't taste like the Long Island Iced Teas that I know but I drank it anyway as the barman was a nice guy and looked a bit like Robin Williams. You've got to love Mrs Doubtfire.
Retired @9.15pm, luckily for me the pretty girl who I have referred to previous and her pal were going out for some drinks and asked me along. I think I played it cool and casually accepted while inside resisting the urge to bite her hand off. This doesn't mean i have some sort of hand fetish.
An evening of drunkeness followed in Taupo's finest with the Kiwi Experience bus crew. Fun was had and there were some cool people amongst them, some idiots but thats life. Returned about 4am, Nicola commented in the morning at how noisy the people were who got back at that time, not knowning i was one of them, I smugly smiled to myself.
The possibility of a sky dive is looming, everyone I speak to who's done it literally has the biggest glow on there face, its hard not to take the adrenalin from how they describe it and not want to do it yourself. We shall see.
