This morning I enjoyed the best egg white omelette I had ever had.
After breakfast we headed off to our elephant trekking tour. We were enthusiastically greeted by our tour host, who are countless jokes -- I love people like that. After letting the elephants and taking some photos we headed off to the area where we would started the trek. My elephant was gorgeous, and very old! (45yo) my mahout (elephant trainer) was very polite and stopped for photos whenever I wanted and stopped when I was slipping off the elephant!
Another trainer took a shine to me, yelling and singing my name "Natalie Natalie Natalie!" -- he was hilarious, joking around, placing a gecko on my chair!
I thoroughly enjoyed the elephant trekking and when it was over we got to feed them and take some more photos. The hilarious trainer got the elephant to rest his trunk on my head, of which I was terrified he would eat me! It payed for a good photo though!
After we got home we did some more shopping which involved me enjoying the yummiest pancake, made on a small cart. The rest of the afternoon was spent reading my travel books and relaxing by the pool.
I have learnt and experience so much already in my two full days here, I never want to leave. I love this city so much and enjoy all it has to offer, especially the culture and the people.
Dinner at hooters was filling to say the least. My pile of nachos were MASSIVE! Just hoping I don't get sick from the food now......
So we went to a ladyboy show and I must admit it was an experience, but I'm impressed. The costumes were amazing and the dancing was decent! I admired what they do and find it interesting how they make a living. After the show I was persuaded into spending some of my cash on photos with them all. Great night
