And so my little adventure has come to an end. Menjangan has been a lovely relaxing break in complete contract to the hectic Sanur. I feel recharged and not as disheartened as before. The DM course is not over but I have plenty of opportunity to finish it in London at my own pace.
I've met some lovely people along the way, and I've learnt a lot about myself. I have had laughs and many many tears. While it is fun to travel on your own, nothing beats having someone with you to share the experiences.
The mosquitos have had a feast on my sweet blood and I can say I am very pleased to be seeing the last of them for the time being!
I never expected to feel as homesick as I do, but I think it just makes you appreciate what you have a lot more. I love the UK and my little house. Miss my family, my friends and Marty my cat!
So bring on the cold, rain and wind. I miss you! :-) I've had fun, but home is beckoning! :-)

Guy I've loved reading this blog Natasha, I suspect every diver has experienced the challenges you describe so well but not all of the good ones you've had. A really good insight. It's particularly interesting for me as I was thinking of doing exactly the same and getting my DM for it's own sake. One obstacle was that it was difficult to make the commitment for several weeks leaving Carole on her own on the beach. Carole has been reading the blog too, shes says it proved what she has said all along, "you're all bonkers". But we know she's the one missing out!
