Paris: Day 2.
I hate to say that "we didn't do much today," but compared to yesterday, we really didn't! We spent most of the morning with a tour guide on the bus until we got to Norte Dame and got to walk around for a tad. We didn't actually go IN Notre Dame today cause we have a concert in there tomorrow, but we saw the outside! I'm SO excited to go in!!! Anyways, after we walked around for a bit, we walked across the Seine into the Latin Quarter and we had lunch at some quote little French restaurant WHERE I TRIED ESCARGOT. I actually loved it.
OH AND GUESS WHAT ELSE! We had our first concert today! We sang at, Saint Germaine des Pres, the oldest church in Paris, and the concert was really unexpectedly wonderful! We had a rather large crowd who LOVED everything that we sang! There was this adorable little Frenchman who stood up in the middle of the concert and blew us kisses, and let me tell you, I was about to burst from the cute.
After the concert, we saw the Pantheon, and then headed over to dinner! Jordan, Grace, Karin, and I found this itty bitty bistro, and we had literally the greatest time there. We somehow made friends with all the waiters and bartender (who danced to Spice Girls and Katy Perry with a wine glass balanced on his head), and had some very French food I even tried salmon eggs...
