La vida es bonita. Life is good.
I haven't written for a while mostly because I've been spending my time here in Granada, soaking up Spain and enjoying my time abroad. It's so crazy that I've already spent more than two months here and that I will be returning home in less time than that. I guess I'm at the stage where I'm consciously competant in some aspects of Spanish life, which has been pretttyyy cool to realize. I've continued at my tarea externa, teaching English at el colegio (middle school) near my house, as well as spent more time with my intercambio and her friends. It was great to be in Granada for the last two weekends, to spend time in the city, exploring and making friends, trying new things and getting to know Spain. Today, I actually got (slightly severely) sunburnt, when I sat in our terrace for a few hours in a tank top and shorts, reading a Spanish play. Not that I'm complaining...its snowing like crazy at home (another reason to be glad I'm here). Although it's raining more than it normally does in Granada, I can't help but love the fact that the weather here is beautiful.
But in all, really enjoying it here.
La vida es bonita y quiero disfrutar cada momento que estoy en el extranjero.
Hasta luego :)
