today has been freaking amazing! we got up at 8, hungover and so not ready for what we were about to do! chatting with the guys not realizing that in two hours it was time! time to leave all common sense at home and literally jump into uncertainty! Rob dropped us at AJ Hacket and our bus arrived. an oppressive atmosphere only interrupted by nervous giggling and poor jokes filled the bus. After a two hours bus ride which felt like the quickest in my life, we arrived at the scary canyon. A facetious guide met us, brought us our harnesses and led us to the gondola. After waiting 30 minutes and chatting up a cool brazilian, the guide called my name. f***! I was about to jump 147 meters with a rope tied to my legs with velcro and a single metal thing. POINT OF NO RETURN! Mr. kinda-cute held my harness making it impossible for me not to jump 3-2-1 BUNGYYYY....

probably the longest 5 seconds of my life but what a feeling!! After sensing my harness and the rope cooperating I enjoyed the fact that my head was upside down 50 meters above a canyon! struggling with my release rope to turn my body into correct position didn't even bother me!

back on solid ground to be met with laugh, proudness, recognition and relief. A video of my crazy accomplishment was my 5 minutes of fame and a lifelong memory. Back to Queenstown in a bus with a bunch of talkative adrenalin junkies was the best bus ride in my life! A date with a cute Argentinian was made and but after arriving in qt we ran off. poor guy. we decided that we deserved a Fergburger and went to the amazing place!

A phone number on a napkin delivered with a challenging glance and a Fergburger richer, I felt ecstatic.
