Ein Gedi, known as spring of David, is the mountainous area where David seek refuge when King Saul tried to persecute him.
In one of the caves, David cut the robe of King Saul and was later then felt troubled as he disobeyed his master. David then came to King Saul with his humility and humbled himself before him. King Saul saw the anointing of the Lord upon David and laid down his throne for him.
Ein Gedi lies at the northen part of Dead Sea. Dead Sea is 80km long, stretching from Southern to Northen of Israel. The evaporation rate of Dead Sea is 1m per year.
It is well known that Dead Sea contains high concentration of salt and mineral which is highly effective in area of medicine, cosmetic and fertilizer.
It was a beautiful experience worshipping in Ein Gedi with the resonance songs of Psalms written by David during his hiding.
