We found out about a month ago now, that we will be living in Jakarta for 3 years, starting sometime next year.

Things are falling into place, with a little research.

I am about to send the school application off. We have chosen the British International School, rather than an American based school. More aligned with the Aussie way, but the kids did prefer their virtual tour.
Unfortunately it will take 1.5 hours to get there. Guess what Aidan got for his birthday? An iPod touch!

We will take the house that the current person in Jakarta has. We are also taking the gardener, driver and housekeeper. Arrangements for all his have yet to be arranged, but less things to think about.

Looks like we will be there in mid December.

I start my Indonesian classes tonight. It is Guy's birthday today.
