Neil's Round the World Trip!
I got up early and had breakfast with the Camachos. We watched Miss Cochabamba on television. I texted my mum and Monty but my Bolivian network provider is dodgy and then sent me 20 identical texts from both my mum and monty costing a fortune no doubt (but I've instructed my parents not to pay as it's a dodgy Bolivian company). I sat in my room and looked over my Spanish, it was hard but necessary. Sometimes I get annoyed because I can't measure my progress and don't know if I`m improving at the pace I'd like..ah well. Lunch was the same cuisine as last night; chicken and rice. However for a starter we had the amazing floating potatoes soup. We ate peanuts after lunch and watched tv. The peanuts here are amazing! The Camachos son Coco arrived, and picked up the grandchildren. I walked around the neighbourhood and saw the nearby lake which is littered with rubbish. Also I saw a few Bolivian neds although they differentiate themselves from their Scottish counterparts by not having their caps at an angle. The streets of the area are nice and they're are some really nice houses.
I returned to the house and chatted to Jose, I showed them photos from home. They like that and asked me lots of questions about Glasgow and Scotland. We had some tea and bread. Whilst having our little tea break they told me some disgusting things Bolivians eat (and I thought haggis was gruesome). They dip eyeballs in a spicy sauce and eat fried tripe..yuk. They also eat sheep heads that have been boiled.
I had dinner with the them which was mystery meat and rice. We chatted for a bit while the grandchildren who'd just arrived home watched "Los Simpsons". I retired to my room studied for a bit and then went to bed.
