Hi guys
Ive survived another weeks 'hard' work! Ive spent most of the week radio tracking marabou stork chicks. Ive always watched peole do it on telly and wondered what it would be like so now i am that person holding the reciver waiting for it to start beeping! Its really not very hard but then again it helps our litttle ones are still only strating to fly so dont venture very far!! Which makes it even more exciting when you do find one in a new place! I know ive spent to long in the African sun!!
We've had a couple of impressive thunderstorms this week. Watching the lightning is awesome it turns night to day for a split second and you can feel the thunder its so loud! Also had a couple of scorching hot days. I didnt think it could get hotter than Namibia but i was wrong.
I did a game drive around the park were based at on tuesday. Saw the cutest little rhino calf. Its only a few months old so all feet and ears with no co ordination. Also saw some lions and elephants. I most admit the guide was rubbish. The more tours i do since doing the field guiding the more i find myself thinking i really could this......
See you all in 47 days!!! Bye for now Dawn x;0)x
