Hello everybody!

Im alive and well here in Swaziland! Had a very chilled out week. Arrivied on Friday didnt start work until Monday. I didnt realise how knackered i was until i had a comffy bed and no set time to get up spent all of Saturday in bed!!! Spent Sunday chilling out by the pool at the local 5* lodge not what i really expected from Swaziland!!

The whole country is alot more developed and western than i expected. Its far better developed than Zambia and even some parts of Namibia. Which is not always i good thing just means ive eaten out alot this week!!

The conservation project is good. Currently doing research into marabou storks. The young chicks are just begging to fledge so we are tagging and ringing them. We also fitted radio transmitters to some.Next week well be trying to track the ones that have fledged already.

Also helped out tagging some white backed vulture chicks. they spent all morning telling me how nice they were. First one we came to was evil it went for everything that moved! We find them using GPS so i had acrash course in using some how still ended up not knowing where i was!!

Spent today quad biking throw the country. It was a culture tour throw lots of homesteds but to be honest we were more intrested in using full throtal!! Well they shouting food is ready so better go! Dawn x;o)
