Oh thank goodness - I think we are on the mend! Saturday was a complete write off although I did have to duck into town for a new sheet set for the double bed and medication for Nick who was still on the toilet every half an hour! 10 tablets later and he gave up taking them! The kids became the ferals in the play ground, unsupervised and running wild while we both slept. By early evening I was feeling well enough for a dip in the ocean and it was magic! Early beds for everyone hoping Sunday would bring good health....and it did. I started the day with a walk along the ocean and suddenly this year away didn't seem like such a bad idea. After breakfast we met up with the Narrogin crew and went for a swim at one of the coves by Emu Point followed by relaxing in the shade for the middle of the day and then another swim at Middleton Beach in the afternoon. A simple Spag Bol for dinner and the world was right again. After a very good night's sleep we all woke up this morning feeling back on track. I started the day with another walk along the beach, then after breakfast we all walked to Emu Point. Trying to teach the kids that this is not a holiday but a way of life is hard especially when they want ice creams at every opportunity. Still feeling a bit sluggish we relaxed for the afternoon, which was easy as the park is full of kids and we are right next to the playground. We headed back to Emu Point for the afternoon as it was too windy to swim at Middleton Beach and Nick and the kids swam out to the jetty. Fish and chips for dinner rounded off a beautiful day.

Caroline Now that is the romantic adventure that I had pictured, walks on the beach, kids playing, simple dinners. Your mood lifted with every word. I do believe the Mulligans are back and ready to take on Australia, woohoo!!!
