Today I walked to work with my buddy, Raquel (its .02 km away)! She helped me get a visitor's badge for security and introduced me to everyone in the office. I sat with the first year audit assistants (Leticia, Laura, Hugo, Guilherme, and Marina) and they took me to lunch at the nearby mall. We ate at a Brazilian buffet place called Viena where you select your food and weigh your plate at the end. Once again, the food was DELICIOUS!

Back in the office I finished my tasks and completed some e-learnings. Every month they celebrate all the birthdays in the office. Around 4:00 PM, everyone in the office started singing happy birthday and I was so confused! I thought they sang every day like a part of the Brazilian culture! To my surprise, it only happens once a month, I just was lucky enough to be there for that one day (and eat the cake!)

After work, 2 first years, Leticia and Laura offered to take me to dinner so I would not have to eat alone at the hotel :) We went to Parque dom Pedro, Latin America's largest mall, and ate at a Mexican restaurant called Si Senor! I got a filet mignon burrito and chips and salsa and they even had guac :) I was a happy girl!
