Kathleen Babcock So I was just thinking as I was reading this, you should have brought an empty suitecase with just your tooth brush and some clean underwear and bought the rest of the stuff you need/want in Japan. Next time I guess!

Aunt Linda Hi Laura, In traveling that is the #1 sin (Packing too much). Also remember you will have to save room for anything you will be purchasing in Japan. I would go with the least amount of things if I were you. Have a wonderful, awesome time. Looking forward to hearing of your adventures.

Brenda Babcock Laura, You write so beautifully! I am so happy that you are experiencing traditional Japan, toilet and all! The temples and shrines must be something to see. Hope you slept well on the mats. You must have been thrilled to put on the kimono! Have fun and be safe! Love you....Mom
