Carrying this over from the last night, we had to get up for the bus departure at 445, so we all decided to stay up all night. A few of the guys on our floor decided to sleep, but hey, it's our last night in London, and we've got a 10 hour flight back so we can sleep later, and have fun now. We killed our last bottles of absynth, captain, and a few miscellaneous beers left in the refridgerator. Kept each other up playing spades and other card games until the light of dawn. We then gethered the rest of our things from our dorms and said our final goodbyes. Heading down to the bus we were a bit behind the rest of the group, but still made it with plenty of time. Rosco, however, was still sleeping and missed the first bus. Long story there in which i'd rather not get into. We then said our goodbyes one last time to the professors, friends on the later flight, and our home for the last 5 weeks. Taking one last picture at dawn of ramsey hall, and the bt tower, I got on the bus and said goodbye to fitzrovia and london. The check in line at Heathrow took a long time, but we still made it in with plenty of time to sit there and eat something before our flight. I slept most of the way, watched a few flicks, and listened to a few podcasts. In dallas, we went to the same bar we were at on the way there, had a brew, then got on our tiny plane back to atlanta. Once we arrived in atlanta and getting our bags, my mom was waiting out on the curb in the car with none other than a chick fil a spicy chicken sandwich for me. Bliss.
This experience has been nothing short of spectacular. I met so many good people, had such great experiences, and wish it were everlasting. I plan to definitely go back to London later in my life, and possible take a job there if at all possible. I find it now has a special place in my heart, as cheesy as that sounds. I will always cherish this experience and memories forever as this study abroad was awesome. Not quite sure how to end all this, so I will do so with a period.
