June 28th
Today was a great time. Woke up a bit later than normal which was nice for a change, and proceeded to eat a rough breakfast consisting of a red bull, and a cliff bar. Very bad combination that I know for next time not to do. It's really true that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, because that made me feel terrible until we got to the royal observitoty and i was able to eat something else. At the observitory, the more notable thing I saw was of course the prime meridian, the clocks designed for sea, and the massive 28inch telescope. Being on 0 degrees was pretty bizzare, but also seeing those ancient clocks and telescopes shows me how far technology has truly come. After that, we literally just stepped int he door at Queen Annes house, then went ot a little place I like to describe as heaven. It was called the Kings arm pub, and in there i had the best burger I think i've ever had. Not only in London but the whole world. Words cannot describe how good it was. Anyways, after, we went to the national maritime museam where we saw the progression of ship technology. From there we took a long but fun bus ride back to oxford street where we walked to UCL.
