Almost mid November, and high of 79 is a gift for us. Not even a cloud!
With such a perfect start we packed some water bottles and lunch in a bag, and headed towards DeSoto State Park. The park is located merely 14 miles from our campground in Fort Payne.
We stopped at the visitor center and grabbed a trail map. We chose a nice hiking trail of 2.5 miles (The blue and the orange), that goes through some nice falls. Moe, our boxer who joined us this trip was as happy as can be, and help pulling us uphill. We had some lunch break at the lost falls and took many pictures on the way.
After couple of hours or so we came back to the car. We then headed to DeSoto Falls, a cascaded three or four falls in an amazing settings. Enough with the words - take a look at the pictures.
