Chilled out breakfast with yoghurt, fruit and granola. Maya and I were then dropped at Lunds, a supermarket where we had a coffee from Caribou and then sat, while Maya did her homework. You could eat a whole meal of samples if you felt like it. I tried some Cheese and apple pie.
My boots have become a feature of the trip. I decided to pack up my broken suede boots, travel blanket and a top to post back to UK. I took them to FedEx to get a quote. $174! So I still have them, and Carolyn will try to post at the Post Office. What should be my cut-off before I dump the boots and other items?
This afternoon we visited Mall of America, which I believe is the largest shopping centre in the world. A lot of distance to cover and there's even an amusement park inside! I managed to pick up a free Chanel Coco perfume sample. Why change a habit!
Off to the station now for my 2315 two day trip to Portland Oregon.
No wifi for couple of days. See you in Portland!

dawn Russell you sound as if you are having a busy time, hope you sort the boots, and have warm clothes. bye xx
Mo I am having a lot of fun Dawn. I bought new boots in Canada, after visiting nearly every shoe store in Westfield, Richmond, Hammersmith (UK) , Asheville (USA), and the Maple Leaf Mall, Burlington (Canada). Had to buy a size up to get width required. They are fine for walking but seem to cramp my toes when sitting! Overall I'm pleased with them and mainly that I've not had to resort to flip flops in the ice/snow! :)
