I am still in shock that the plane didn't have individual TV screens??? I had counted on it to get me through the 10hr flight. However, my gold managed to get a much appreciated Puzzler, so the flight just flew by.
When we arrived a little dazed, I was sent to Immigration... After watching numerous people being questioned I began to wonder what I would say... What is the purpose of my trip? Eeek... So, I'm next and they say nothing... just stamp me and send me on my way.
We have already lost one piece of luggage. Kats cheap and cheerful Thai rucsac has fallen at the first hurdle! The front pocket had come away : (
When we arrived we hadn't booked anywhere to stay, so we headed for tourist information and was given a 'yellow pages'. We called the first add and headed for the Comfort Inn, Howe St.

We have spent days being over enthusiastic and walked miles through the city and park in the pouring rain.
Overwhelmed by everything there is for us to do, I think I have every leaflet for everything in BC!
Unfortunatly, we have been unable to find any animals larger than a squirrell in the wild... Gold is sick at the moment so feeling weak, but I'm sure we'll be up hiking the hills for larger mammals as soon as he recovers.
I think I am nearing my fill of waffles and bagels.
Have started a scrap book of essential travellers memory toot! Just didn't feel we had enough to carry.
