I slept in today and then made a nice breakfast with Anne and Brian. We walked down to the office where people meet on Saturday morning to discuss their project for the previous week in the field and plans for the next week.
We had the rest of the day free so called George (the awesome taxi driver that Macheo uses) to take us to the Blue Post again to look at their little artisan shops. We walked around to them and some of the keepers were very aggressive! I didn't like that but enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful things that different tribes in Kenya make. Then we strolled down to the waterfall and sat down for a cold Tusker and live local music. Could not have been more relaxing!
We got home later and I heard loud music in one of the children's houses so got curious and walked down. They were having a dance party that night! So I stopped back later and music was playing with a couple of the young boys helping the DJ and everyone else dancing. I joined them ;) . The children were so happy and it was so nice to see! They danced way better than me, haha. I went to bed happy! I think today I really started to love the culture, the people, all the hustle and bustle of the markets along the road, the crazy matatus, cows (like everywhere!), and all the smiling people :)
