well after a crazy train ride in which i actually got kicked off and had to find another train, i arrived in rome from lausanne after 14 hours of travel. the past week was so much fun to hang out with my sister. she speaks french like a fiend. we saw sights, ate great food, climbed mountains, hung out, did fun stuff. now i am allllll by myself in rome. its pretty scary actually, i will admit that, but i am slowly slowly gaining confidence. tomorrow i go see...

today we saw the rest of the sites, climbed the dome of the dom, and walked through palace gardens. had local wine which knocked me off my feet practically, a ball of meat for dinner, wrapped in potatoes, and actually recovered my bag from the airport, amazingly. figuring out public transportation was fun, but i remembered a good amt from last trip, and i'm starting to think in german again, so it's helping at least my communication. no real energy or desire t...

this is the first stop off the 24 hour plane ride with four connections. the airline has lost my luggage and so i am with only the clothes on my back and whatever is in my carry-on (not much of actual use). soooo, shopping when the airline compensates me for all my stuff!!! i have not slept since thursday night (may 4th) except for the total of maybe two hours, but i saw the sun rise over the atlantic this morning and it was gorgeous. vienna is beautiful...i'...
