Oh, my Buddha, long time since last entry...What has happened?!?
Johnny came to meet us in Saigon, and we're still travelling together...Started with the Cu Chi tunnels, they were a bit of a dissapointment, but I glad I went.
Decided to go with the easyriders, so we booked them from the 7th. The plan was that the easyrider bikers would come to pick us up from Mui Ne and drop us in Nha Trang...But we enjoyed everything so much that we decided to take another 4 days, so a total of 8 days.
It was such a great experience, the nature, mountains covered in jungle, waterfalls, the little villages and all the people-things we would never had seen without them...
The most fantastic single experience was probably one of the waterfalls, where we went through it and stood behind it...I am so happy I have a camera that can go under water-funny photos from there now!!!
I never thought I would love Vietnam so much, nor that I would enjoy this trip this much-I have the best travel mates!
I think the time with the easyrides can only be told by photos...can't give you any now...but I promise to put some in when I come home!
On the last day on the bikes I managed to be hit by a scooter on the road...we had stopped, 'cos my driver had gotten a wasp inside his shirt, and then some stupid ashole hit me on the side of the road, 'cos he was not looking forward, only talking on his phone...I was very lucky though, only one bruise on my left leg and a burn on my right.
Our beloved easyriders left us on the 14th in Hoi An 1391km later...It was sad to let them go, but the right thing to do...Johnnys biker had his strange moments...
In HoiAn we got quite a lot of clothes tailored....1coat, 3dresses, 2 tops, 1jacket and 2 trousers-like I need more...well, what can you do...atleast I will look stunning,hehe
On the 15th we realised that time is slipping trough our fingers, so we started paniking with finding a bus to Hanoi, getting our last clothes done and check out in time...Everything went very well and 14.00 we sat on our first bus, 4hours later we changed in Hue, 12hours after that we arrived in Hanoi. Had a strange man/boy next to me on hte night bus that was caressing my breast when he thought I was sleeping-strange guy...so I put my covers up, talked to Emma and Johnny, and he seemed to get the hint.
In Hanoi we changed bus again and headed to HaiPong, there we took a boat to Cat ba island, deadtired and filthy but lovely scenery on the way through the Halonbay area and a very nice cave-but we only wanted to our island......where we are now....doing the beach part of our vacation. We found our paradise, A beach pretty much without other people, and we live in a bungalow just by the sea...couldn't ask for anything more-happy happy happy.
Less than one week to go now, sadly!
Gotta go, time to feed the masses!
