guten tag finally we have arrived at a beach!!!! the water here is as clear as you see in those travel guides. we got bthe train (another long one) from belgrade. before i write anymore. belgrade what a mind blowing take you back down to earth place. on the train we passed what they call the cardboard paper city. gypsies living in houses just mada out of paper and cardboard with rubbish everywhere. the image i cant get out of my mind there were children living in this. it was image after image we saw one building that had been blown up and it had just been left there. the building was huge. people just walked passed trying not to look. it was horrible. it was good to see though that within just six years these people are looking to the future and have come such along way. as they all kept saying to us "serbia forever". we spent one night in zagreb alright just another beutiful european city. we got the bus here to zadar the plan was to spent 3 wks in croatia but they put a lovely fat summer tax on accomadation so we will only be here for 1 wk. enough to get our tans back!!!!! so see yous in italy !!!!!! lots of warm hot hugs!!! mitch and sare
