Luxury at last !! Made it to Silky Oakes Lodge in the rainforest near mossman. Had a great dinner last night in the treehouse restaurant after a spa. Driving here down the mountains and through the rainforest was spectacular with great views !! A few days of rest then on the road

Just found this idyllic riverside camping spot near Coen. We did a tour of the Weipa bauxite mine earlier today then hit the road south!
Bamaga, Queensland
After resting for 2 nights at seisia we ate on the road again to Weipa There are a lot of WW2 plane wrecks scattered around Bamaga this is of a DC 10 that left Brisbane with 2 US officials on board.
