Since I've made some English speaking friends, I'll try to write in English from now on, so they can understand as well:)
My new Australian friend Marielle and I, both needed money from an ATM that takes visa cards, and the most convenient one is in Accra. So we decided to make it a day! The day changed into a night, and suddenly we where on the metro mas bus to Accra.
Marielle booked a room next door to her Ghanian friend rebecca, in a area called osu. If I got it right the main street there are called Oxford street, and there's also a casino called "Piccadilly casino". Haha:)
We started the night in Accra with a WARM shower, and a pizza at mamma Mia. A bit expensive in comparison to winneba, but so worth it! Here we met up with our American friends mike and Sri. ( Well Sri is not really American, but that's were he's studying. He's actually from India, and if everything goes by the plan, Marielle, Mike and I will attend an Indian wedding next year:) )
After mamma Mia, we took the trip to one of many bars/clubs in Accra, "star". You could easily say that there's a nightlife her, something winneba lacs.
The way Ghanians party are amazing, they sit around drinking, and if they want to dance, they just stand up and dance, by the table. Mostly moving the hip so the ass do a natural shake.
We where also so lucky to see some really good street entertainers on the road outside the bar, crazy dance moves and acrobatics, and of course, they wanted one cedi after the show.
Our day in Accra was really nicely planned, with a lot to do, smoothie, internet, lunch, market, beach++. Haha, little did we know that the African life style is contagious, and we've adapted the slow way of living. So we ended up a couple of hours at the smoothie bar, then a really good lunch, (lobster and prawns, and white wine) before we went home packing, and suddenly the whole day had past.
So we met up with our American friends, said goodbye, and caught the last last bus back to winneba!
Money check!
Micro simcard check!
The rest, I can to do another time!
Tomorrow I expect a nice day at the beach, before school hopefully kicks on for real in Monday!
