Job at 7am! Had to wear a fetching green t-shirt and hat combo whilst promoting Metro newspaper. Easy work, and potential for further jobs. Finally bought a hairdryer too - woo!

Went to the beach with a picnic and watched the air show. We were interviewed on camera by a Canadian news channel about how we were enjoying Labour Day weekend. Very funny! Must see if it's online!

Headed to Greek Town and sat out in the sun eating souvlaki. Decided to explore Little Italy and came across a massive street festival. Had a couple of beers there. Pretty sure it was at the most expensive place there!!

Been handing out CVs (or should that be resumes?!) in the Eaton Centre. Not looking very promising, so may have to get a job at Mr Sub! Lunch Express experience may come in handy! Luck changes - get a 3 hour job handing out flyers promoting Metro newspaper. It's $40 I didn't have before! Went into American Eagle; ended up having an interview right there in the middle of the shop! Had to put an outfit together and sell it to him! Can't have been bad as he's ring...

Went on a canoe trip out to Toronto Islands. The 2 English (us), German and Aussie paddled hard. The Italian girls at the front sang and dipped their paddles in occasionally! The Islands were very pretty, and we were able to enjoy the view of downtown Toronto from a different perspective - very picturesque!
