Started my new job at Pier 1 Imports. Seems ok. Got to buy new clothes though, as I can only wear boring neutrals! You leave the place smelling like cinnamon! Candles are everywhere! Visited Captain Jack's bar - oh my! We met a healer, the local hippy/dealer, baker and a candlestick maker! Only kidding. The former two we met though! Also came across a guy who used to live in Wilmslow. A bizarre night, but couldn't stop laughing!

Heard an awful noise this evening; a really vicious hissing and growling, and a whimpering noise in the background. Assume it was a raccoon. There was blood outside the next day! Eek!

Had my first and last day at American Eagle! Just not my kind of place. Trained with the gayest guy ever, who was determined to let everyone know he wasn't straight. Like it needed advertising! He actually went up to some girl that worked there and said "what's up girlfriend?!" Hilarious!

Four shifts in one weekend for the Metro news - never again! TIFF is hotting up though; there's a real buzz in downtown. Saw the Hello! Canada event. Very posh! Although I have no idea who all of the "celebrities" were!

Saw our first raccoon today. Nick's named him Charlie. Theyr'e a lot bigger than I imagined they would be. Looked like a loon on the subway. I got on, but Nick didn't quite make it! I couldn't stop laughing out loud - strange looks ensued!
