Hey there. Finally found an internat station. Iv been wondering around a the biggest shopping mall you've ever seen for nearly 2hours looking for the 'internet cafe', found that the 'cafe' was a random computer with a grubby key pad in the corner of an electical dept ha ha!!

Had an adventurous flight...in heathrow there were huge queus for check in and security...made a friend Dave who was immigrating to oz to be with his grilfriend. After my bags went through the scanners my personal alarm went off...what a noise...the guards weren't best pleased?, then when i was boarding i discovered that i had left my young persons card at the check in desk and the nice ppl at the airport had it there to give me. On the plane I stupidly took advantage of the free bubbly (well u got to don't u) and then half way through my sleep i felt well sick and came over all funny....serious hangover or what!!!

Once landed had to go through a load of security gates and answer a questionnaire, questions inc if i had a 'snivel' that one made me laugh!! Got a taxi ok and tried having a sign language type of conversation with the driver but it wasn't happening!! The roads are manic and the amount of bikes are crazy...its as mad as moped fever in naples!! Something that struck me straight off is how clean everything is...there is even a team of yellow bike men who go round litter picking!!

I hadn't a clue about price conversions but found out later taxi ride was 6 quid...not bad! Hotel is really nice and far to posh for me and my ruck sack!! As much as i knew i shouldn't i had a lil sleep wen i got to the hotel, had a shower and then ventured out. Met some ppl who started an intrepid tour and their guide who directed me to some where to eat. Really surprisingly but I hardly saw any tourists!! I am so glad I did die my hair tho as I stand out like a sore thumb! Everyone is really friendly and I have learnt how to say hello and thank you but am working on bye....although the chinese love saving bye in english and do this wave thing too .

Today its ab chucking it down, managed to get ripped off when buying a brolly but taught the girl the word 'pink' ha ha. Im going to gosey round a bit longer and try to figure out how to get out of this shopping centre. Hopefully it has stopped raining so much and i'll make my way over to more cultural sites!!! Start tour tomorrow and am really looking forward to speaking to ppl....as u all can imagine im going a bit crazy and may start talking to myself tee hee stranger things have happened!!!

P.S Wen i was washing my hands earlier the cleaning ladies couldn't stop looking at my bum (i could see int he mirrors) is it really that big ha ha...ooo errrr! x
