Today was a travel day. We arrived at the airport in Quito at 6:30 AM for our 8:30 flight through to Baltra in the Galapagos. Our bags were checked and we were awaiting the arrival of our AeroGal flight. It wasn't long before they announced that the flight was delayed. And then delayed further. After a nice breakfast at the Swiss Hotel, we traveled north of Quito to the Otavalo Indian Market. We didn't buy anything but was fun to look around. After the market, we went to the Hacienda Pinsaqui for lunch where we had a traditional Ecuadorian lunch. It was wonderful.
