We travelled by ferry and minibus from Koh Phangan to get to Koh Sok, once arriving we checked into the jungle huts, which were definatly true to there name being surounded by thick jungle.
The next day we booked to go on a tour of the rainforest for 2 days and one night, we stayed on a rafthouse (a floating hut on the river) The tour included getting a long tail boat along the river to the rafthouse were we left our small bags, we then enjoyed swimming (after being told there were 80kg fish and sea snakes) then we took a kanoe out to try and spot some monkeys in the trees, whilst sitting in the kanoe we heard a big splash and Kate got freaked out and tryed to paddle as quick as possible back to the raft. In the afternoon we went on a jungle trek with our tour guide Adam and fellow trekkers Pim, Yioska and Amonda. We saw a snake, lizzards, insects and lots of magic mushrooms. That night whilst sleeping on the raft there was a storm.
In the morning we went on safari and we saw some monkeys swinging form the trees. After more swimming we went on another jungle trek where the highlight was seeing a orange gibbon!! then we returned to the jungle huts much to Kates dismay (as the cockroaches swormed the rooms).
