Just arrived in Paris. The flight was good and I got upgraded so after a short nap Tom and I are going off to explore.
We got a lift from some people in the hotel lobby trying to market the new Jeep to Notre Dame. From there we walked around for a couple of hours with a final destination of the Eiffel Tower. It was sunset by then and very romantic walking along the river.
We took the subway back to the hotel and were very surprised to walk off the train and into Bercy Village, a small collection of shops that used to be a wine warehouse. We bought fresh bread, cheese, turkey and wine for dinner in the hotel room. We were both really tired so it was perfect.
