G'day from rainy Sydney. Ive finally arrived after a very good flight. I ended up having 3 seats to myself to i ended up sleeping for most of the flight. A first for me! After a slight confussion with the transfer i finally arrive at Base backpackers. I cant check in so i leave my bags and head to Subway across the road for some lunch and then to Woolworths to get some food shopping for the next 4 days. I cant believe how expensive ever thing is here. Its alot more expensive than the last time i was here. Or maybe is cus ive been in Asia for the last month and everything is just so cheap.

Once im all checked in i have a walk in the rain to the rocks area to see the bridge and the opera house. I was going to do the opera house tour but by the time i got there it was closing. So i headed back to the hostel for a nice hot shower and some food.

The next morning i have a lie in and get up at 1030am. I book to do the bridge climb for tomorrow hopefully the sun will be out then. A girl in my dorm is also from England and its her bday tomorrow so she decides to do the climb also.
After i head back down to the Opera House and do the tour. Its actually really interesting seeing how it was made. To start they said it would take about 3 yrs to build and cost 7 million dollers. It actually took 16yrs and over 100 million dollers abit of a difference.
After a walk through the botanical gardens and eat my luch ive made. A cheese sandwich and some crisps. I end up getting attacked by a parrot who tried to fly of with my bottle of fanta. I then walk to Darling Harbour for a look around before heading back for tea.

The next morning up earky for the Bridge climb. Me and Alison have to be there for 9.30 but we get a little lost and get there at 9.45. Once we are all geared up in our sexy suits we head out to the bridge. For a change the sun is shinning. The climb was brilliant so amazing views. In the afternoon i catch the ferry to Manly and chill for a few hours. Manly is really nice should have stayed here for a night or 2. Oh well maybe next time.Tonight is ladies night in the bar next to our hotel so me alison and a few other girls head there for our free drinks.

Today is my last day here. The sun is out again so i get the bus to Bondi with Alison. We spend the day on the beach. Tonight Alison is off out on a party boat as its good Friday nothing is open all the shops bars etc are all closed. I have an early start tomorrow got to leave at 6am for the airport so im staying in and packing my bag again.
Tomorrow ill be in New Zealand and i cant wait really looking forward to it. Just hope the weather isnt to bad.
