Goood night from a lovely, warm Washington DC!! Oh my God what a day - watched the Liverpool game and it was epically exciting! Come on you reds!! Found a nice Irish pub in Alexandria that was showing the game - we were the only Brits in there. They had the volume down but it didn't take away from the� tension. Really stressful and I kept thinking of everyone back home. Gutted when Kuyt's goal was disallowed - thought it may have been Chelsea's day. What a penalty shoot-out though - good old Bepe. Loved Rafa sitting on the grass with his legs crossed too!! Went mental when we won and scared everyone in the pub! "Oh my God you guys are totally into your soccer!" Absolutely brilliant fun - strange watching it thousands of miles away but amazing nontheless. Superb!! Bring on Man U! Anyway, given that this is a travel blog I should mention something other than football. Went into DC for the last time before the game. Tried to go to the FBI building but tours were suspended for security reasons. Boo! After the game we chilled out at Diane and Sid's. It's our last night here and we're a bit emotional! Had a brilliant time and we'll miss them both. Down to Miami in the morning baby. Just like Will Smith. Alright! See you on South Beach!
