Hello Everyone!
I am yet again sorry that it's taken so long for an update, we have been have some trouble with the internet. We are just coming into the end of the week and since I last updated there have been so many classes it's crazy. Here is a bit of a break down:
Last week we studied The Word of the Lord. We learned so much from our leader, Cheyne (pronounced Shane) about how to really get a passion for reading the Bible and taking the time to study the Word. Also, how to stand firm in the words that God gives us through degrees, laws, statutes, promises, prayer, etc. Great stuff, really.
This week we have two speakers, one for End Times teaching and the rest is Fear of the Lord, which makes sense that they are taught hand in hand. It was almost too much to really cover in a few days, but though it's been mentally challenging to dive into, it has been a fast week.
There were also the elective classes that I'm taking in leadership and medical. I will have to say that it was really interesting the last week for medical. We have been learning about leading diseases and this last week was all about Diabetes. We were taught how to take someone's blood sugar level and to follow up the last lesion we practiced taking people's blood pressure as well.I will have to say that my results were great for both and that I preformed both with easy, maybe because mom had taught me long ago.
This weekend we were taken to Karangahake gorge walkway, which is a historical park where the old gold mines are. It was really fun because after all the long hike and trails there is a great place to swim high in the mountains. We were directed to a place further up river (which you would have to swim) that had a good spot for cliff jumping. As I climbed up the 30ft. or so cliff to the spot where we would jump I was longing for the Fueille boys to join me... or to be there to give me a brave push off. It took me a minute but yes, I did it! Woohoo! Lots of fun.
As my team prepares for outreach we have been seeking the Lord in all areas. We want to know the plans he has for us and to go in with an understanding of the task He has us called for.The Lord has been more than faithful to the students and leaders here and I am marvelled at His provision.I have been raising support and praying that my finances would bet met for school and for outreach costs.Last week I was so bless as I was given $2,300 NZ dollars!I still have a ways to go to be completely covered, but I have been given strong words for the Lord to stand on in faith.Like I mentioned above, the week's teaching on The Word of God as just great and perfect timing.
I would like to ask that you all would keep me in your prayers. I still need about $2000 US dollars for school and about another $1000 for the ticket to Japan. If anyone should feel led to help me financially I would be so blessed. So please e-mail me on how you can help at [email protected] or at [email protected].
Also, here is a link for how to send support, just make sure that you send a little note that says it is for Mia Villarreal. http://marinereachministries.com/?page_id=2612
Thank you guys for all the love and support, it means so much to me! Love you and God bless,
Mia

Jacques Sounds great, Mees! Wish I could have been there for the cliff jumping. I don't know if I would have jumped, but if you did, I probably would have too. :) "The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times." (Psalm 12:6)
Stephanie I got to jump off a 30 foot cliff in Fiji, it was so scary but so fun. Sounds like you are doing well and learning a lot there, I am proud of you thanks for keeping us updated. Look forward to your next post. Love you friend
