After leaving the hostel in Killarney I went to Ross castle which was a much better preserved castle than Blarney. I went on a little walk around the grounds before driving towards Bunratty castle. Bunratty was in even better condition however they had converted it and the grounds around it into some touristy theme park so I didn't actually fork over the 15 euro to go in. The picture is one of the little buildings near the castle (I thought the thatched roof was cute). My next stop was the cliffs of moher. They were really pretty but the natural landscape had been ruined by the protective railings and you couldn't get close to the edge in the park. I trespassed on the property next door to get a closer look but the better vantages were in the park and the rest was just really muddy. I drove through the Burren at night so I didn't get to see it's unique landscape. I had a hard time navigating Galway but eventually found the B&B. It was very quaint and the owners were very nice.
