We check out of the hotel today and go for a quick look around the town before we get on the bus to Bangkok. The bus ride to Bangkok is really s*** as usual and we arrive there at 4:30am. Luckily we can check in straight away.

I wake today with a hangover, just a headache but it's fairly bad, I spend till 4pm trying to get rid if it. We head out tat shopping and for some food. We get on the ferry to phi phi and sit outside on the top deck, when we arrive it's the usual mad scramble for bags. On first glance, phi phi looks beautiful. We decide to walk to the hotel - golden hill as there are no roads and set off asking directions as we go. We start walking up some steps only to be told that it's the wrong way. Early this morning gaz heads to Myanmar and the rest of us go to the immigration office. Boy takes us there and then takes us to kata beach. It's really hot so I only last 30 minutes or so in the sun till I retreat for some shade. We all go in the sea and it's not as warm as koh phangan and gets deeper a lot quicker. Feels refreshing except for all the salt. We sunbathe for a little longer and head for a snack before going back to the hotel to meet up with gaz....
