Doubtful Sounds Cruise
First bit of advice do not do Doubtful Sounds with a hangover or pack your overnight cruise bag for Doubtful Sounds when drunk!
We got on the bus at 9am Nick our driver stopped off so the people who had not managed breakfast could get some food - there was a fair few of us and I was not the only one still drunk! I guilt tripped Uie into buying me breakfast which consisted of a feta cheese and spinach roll - strange choice of breakfast - I then brought an extra three hash browns and stocked up on orange juice ( I had no idea what I was doing )
As soon as we were back on the bus I lay on the floor and fell asleep until we got to the boat - when I woke up I felt rough and realised my jumper was inside out! I was to hungover to care so it stayed like this for most of the morning. Our boat we cruised on was actually quite nice and we were all sleeping in Quad Share cabins below deck! I spent pretty much the whole afternoon lying on one of the seats not appreciating the scenery at all, and trying to work out whether I was rocking from side to side or if it was the boat!
Suprisingly I managed to stay up until around midnight watching the Boggle Tournament we had going on! But I slept like a baby that night.
In the morning I opened up my overnight bag to discover I had brought nothing of any use to me... my mobile phone box, a sarong, a dead I.Pod, my journal and the only clothes I brought were two of the hotel t.shirts... which I can only presume I stole as they were staff T.Shirts and not for sale.
Unfortunatley Doubtful Sound was not the best experience although nice to not have to be on the bus so I could recover from my hangover gently!
