Outside our hotel window were these big shopping malls, it felt like being at home looking at gapton hall haha so it just felt like we hadn't even left Great Yarmouth! After resisting to buy things and to try the yummy cakes we headed out of the mall and went to the other side of the hotel which was like a completely different world what we had been in 2 mins before! Walking across the bridge there was a young boy probably no older than 10 and many other young people looking at us wondering if we would give them anything from our bag. I remember giving the young boy 2 little sweets which he was so impressed with, he ran across the very busy road with cars beeping at him when he almost got run over running in and out of the traffic to show his Dad what he had been given. Whether the boy got to eat those sweets himself or had to give them to his Dad we will never know! I just wanted to empty my bag and give everything I had to these people. But you have to remember there are thousands of people living in these conditions and you have to think about who are really the ones in need. And Kingy keeps moaning at me for wanting to give treats to everyone!
So the reason why we went out to this place was to go to pay for the medical equipment we had raised money for at home. We eventually found the pharmaceutical place tucked away behind a side road and down a dirt track. Then off we went to pay the company with a drive that felt like forever, as I was feeling like I had a little bit too much sun not being used to 35 degree heat, ginger and pale!!
Once we got back we went for a yummy dinner at muck and bean for about 90 kwatcher each which is under £7!!
