11th Feb 2013 - After spending an amazing two weeks with Eleni and her parents I got to see a whole new side of Sydney exploring the north side of the city! We went to various different beaches including manly, mona vale, freshwater and other small hidden beaches. I moved back to the city for my reunion with Fi and partied the weekend away where it all began 7 months ago. My adventures now begin all off again as I am off to the unknown! My journey starts with leaving Sydney and heading to Canberra where we were lucky enough to sit in parliament and listen to question and answer sessions! This was an entertaining experience as we witnessed one minister on Facebook, twitter and iTunes, we secretly hoped he would crack out gangnam styles and the government would break into a flashmob! Another minister fell asleep another got chucked out as well as the drama of them having a screaming match! Very entertaining! We also saw the war memorial but that was pretty much all Canberra had to offer! Next we travelled to Thredbo in the snowy mountains, this is where I snowboarded when I first got here and was very spooky as there was no people and no snow!
12 Feb 2013 - Today was to climb 14km up the mountain to the highest peak in Australia at 2,228 metres above sea level. It was a lot colder than I am used to and actually had to find my hoody which I didn't expect to have to use again until I flew home!
13 Feb 2013 - today we ventured to wilsons promontory which is a large national park that looks like an island on the map. We hiked through the park and saw some beautiful sites before ending up on squeaky beach, which indeed was squeaky! Next stop Melbourne!
