Ok so when we last wrote we were in Brisbane...now in Hervey Bay but will fill you in on what happenend in between.
So we stayed in Noosa for 3 nights which was cool but we were a tad out of the town but by a really nice river. So one day we went into noosa heads the town which is fairly upmarket for us backpackers lol. Walked through the national park there and saw some amazing quiet beaches which white sand and crystal clear sea! Also on our little walk through the park we saw a huge goanna just wandering around and a wild koala up the tree!
The next day we went to the epic Australia zoo (home of the late stev irwin crocodile hunter). This zoo is by far the best we have ever been to! There was a free bus from noosa where on the way you can watch episodes of the croc hunter. Then one of the first things we saw when we got there was elephants walking through the park holding eachothers trunks and tails...so cute :D. In most of the zoo the animals are in large open enclosures which the public can walk through, starting with the avairy with exotic birds (tad freaky they got quite close!). But by far the best part of the day was the kangaroo enclosure where they are so calm you can walk up and touch, pet, cuddle, and feed them! They're so soft! similar with the koalas they are all hanging around up the trees but a few are placed on lower branches for people to pet and stroke ! We then went to the crocoseum to see the famous bird, reptile and crocodile show whic was also very good. All in all the zoo was amazing and the animals are so well treated and cared for.
Onto Hervey bay....
