It's been a few days since our last blog entry. Kris and Angela have been free for the weekend and we made the most of it. We took a trip into Sigtuna to have a look around the shops. Had a sandwich and coffee in a cute, old place called Tant Brun. She is a famous children's story writer. We found some souvenirs from Sweden to take home with us.
That night Kris and I looked after the kids while Carmen and Angela had a night out in Stockholm at an Irish pub with live music. The kids kept entertained with Buzz Lightyear while Kris and I had some pizza and beer while looking at soccer.
Yesterday we went to Stockholm to meet up with dad and Anette and we went to the Vasa museum. Vasa was a war ship from the 17th century which sunk on it's maiden voyage and was retrieved from the Stockholm harbour and displayed in the museum. It was incredible to see. We then went to dinner at a close by restaurant and then headed home.
Today we are off to Stockholm to wonder around the city. Tonight we will look after the kids while Kris and Angela head out for dinner.
