Happy New Year everyone!!! Hope everyone had a great new years eve. We had a great new years eve & new years day. A bit of a lazy day to start off with yesterday as the weather was pretty bad. The Bodle's & McBeath's went snowboarding and we went to meet up with them in the afternoon. That was pretty scary because the visibility when driving was extremely bad, very scary!! Everyone got back safe and the new years eve party got started with some very tasty margarita's. We had a great dinner and a good time. Set off some early fireworks for the kids and some more at midnight.
This morning we woke up, a little worse for wear, to a beautiful day so we decided to hit the slopes. We got there at midday, with what seemed to be the rest of Arizona, and after renting some ski's and snowboard we were off. The slopes were awesome! So much fun! Got about 4 decent runs in before the lifts closed and we headed back home. Heading back to Scotsdale tomorrow.
