Finally on the South Island...

Have not been writing for quite a while so I hope I can catch up updating my Blog within the next couple of days. Anyway just got to the South Island on Monday early on monday morning and spend the day sleeping in the van recovering from the lack of sleep from the last frew nights and the early start (5am) to catch the ferry in the morning. Met 3 friends from the Tongariro Crossing weekend. Found a free camp site outside of Picton and had a nice Valentines day dinner with 3 beautiful girls. Was awesome...

The ferry trip from Welly to Picton through the Marlborogh Sounds is described as one of the most beautiful ferry rides on the world.

Made a short hike to Queen Charlotte Lookout in the morning and continued to Blenheim in the afternoon. Found work in a Vinyard starting the next day. First night in a hostal again after aprox. 3 weeks in my Van.

16-17.02.2011 Boring vineyard work

Working 9 hours per day in a Vineyard for the next few days. REALLY BORING WORK OUTSIDE, but at least outside in the sun.Getting up early in the morning and coming back about 6 pm.

Vineyard=Weinberg, aber das ganze ist im Tal nicht aufm Berg, heisst es dann auch Weintal auf deutsch???? Mmmmm... Mal sehen was Leo dazu sagt.. ;)
