Still in the Bay of Islands... cruise on the Rock was awesome, really worth doing it. Did some night kayaking, cold water snorkelling collecting sea urchins. Too bad it is just one night, would have loved to stay another night. Spend xmas eve and xmas day in Paihia relaxing in the SPA and at the beach with good food and a nice bottle of "H Club" añejo blanco... Sun is shining again... Took the Ferry to Russell in the morning and made a nice walk to Wahihi beach and went swimming and sunbathing. First sunny day in a week. Water temperature was nice although not as warm as on the Great Barrier Reef. Guess I am kinda spoild after 3 month with water temperatures of average 27-29 degrees... ;-) Going for a cruise on "The Rock" today, boarding starts @5pm. It is still raining non-stop. Went out drinking last night and got back at 4am. Had to check out of the hostal at 10am so not much sleep as i did not pack yesterday. Finally managed to leave Auckland today and took a NakedBus to Paihia (Bay of Islands) at 4pm, will try to find work here and spend xmas on the beach here. It's raining mate.... Spend the last 3 days working in Auckland so that is why i did not leave the city on wednesday as I had planned. Finished today (Friday 17th) at 6pm. It has been raining the whole almost the whole day since I started working and the forecast says it won't get any better until next wednesday... ;-(
