Hello hello and good bye! Here is where tour becomes a true test o what you are made! These next several days are on the bus, off the bus, over nights on the bus.....very lil time in a hotel.....and yet, you feel badly about even complaining for a minute, because a lot o people would kill to be in your place.....well, maybe not those who like having a home and steady income (and yes, I do wish for that a lot as well....but again, Thea does not seem to jell with my lifestyle)......
Hmmmmmm.......what else, we have our Pres back.....yes I am over the moon, but I am tired of the b.s. fall out. I even had one with an immediate family member......although in my defense, I was minding my own business, being happy about the election.....and BAM! This fall out happened......and my head kinda exploded......I guess it is all swept under the carpet now......but seriously. Had the election gone the other way, I would have accepted.....I would have not been happy.....but I would not have been denouncing the end of the world! I guess I just don't understand how people think.....but enough I that......
Also, I will bemoan one little detail, silly as it is......I am so thrilled as always to be gainfully employed.....but a lil legendary reunion tour is happening.....yes anyone who knows me knows I LOVE THE MONKEES.....and the three surviving members are touring WITH MIKE NESMITH, and his son Christian....who I am proud to say has become a friend of mine, as his amazing girlfriend Circe Link......side note if you are still reading......if you have not discovered the incredible music of Christian Nesmith or Circe Link, you should treat yourself NOW! I think it should be a rule for every singer to own at least ONE Circe album.....Anyhoo, the boys are "comin to (two) of my towns" and I am missing them by just a matter of a few weeks.....they will be in MINN MINN next week and we have a 3 day T GIVING hiatus.....and then to CHI! Well, life is not perfect.....but in a perfect world they would have been in MINN sometime I could be there. Nevertheless, I am so happy they are touring, and happy (seriously, no bitterness, am happy) for those getting to know, and see history and am happy that thanks to social media, I am getting to see many pics and clips.....in the "olden days" known as the 80's, when ya missed a concert, ya missed it.....or maybe ya got a pay per view event.....but nowadays.....enough people can film and share!!!! Anyhoo.....I still got a WHO concert or the STONE 50th ANNIVERSARY Tour on my bucket list.....

Ok, I think I got way off course here.....but it's my blog and I will segue if I want to! Ok, so we flew to charming Newberry, SC and then have moved in to Orange Park, Florida (surviving first bus night) and a day off yesterday (we traveled in that morning) to Nashville......I got to see Opryland Hotel, which was awesome! Ok......will have to get a mid crazy week entry......things are flying by! So it is good to stop and blog! Thanks Timmy for encouraging me to do so.....So far, weather has been pretty awesome (of course we have been in SC, Florida, and N ville) and have not had to pull out the winter coat YET! That could change! Peace and love friends! Here is to (and yes I am happy about it) 4 MORE YEARS OF GOING FORWARD!!!!!
