So my sweet Jennie says she wants to see pics of the bus bunks.....well girl I promise you that will happen....I cannot seem to master the art of posting pics on Kilroy, and I do have some really fun pics to put on FB really soon. I cannot start on that now, because as it is, I already should have been asleep by now.....but tomorrow will be our first day of bus travel only with no show....which next to a GOLDEN DAY (which for the non thespians....basically that means what it is---a day of NO PERFORMANCE and NO TRAVEL)---is kinda a day off....so all that being said---if I am a lil sleepy---all I have to do is load myself on the bus, stagger to my lil bunk, pull the curtain and say "GOOD NIGHT KIDS"---we are heading back to Ohio--

We have done a bit of a zig zag, yesterday Sandusky, Ohio---hauled ass in the middle of the night to Munhall, Pa---then back to OHIO---well, I don't book 'em---I just go sing at 'em! :)

So I had to give a shout out today to Danny Boman and Shani Barrett, because I fondly thought of them when I staggered down to breakfast this am at the Hampton Inn (after 2 very disjointed nights of sleep)---and it was a SEA OF STEELERS colors! Big game today----and a beautiful day for it---happy for one of our wonderful bus drivers, Jeff Cooper (son of the legendary Miles, our senior bus driver, a legend in his own time) as he scored a great tic for $100. Now I personally would not pay that much---but I hear in the NFL world that is a total (pun intended) STEEL!

Interesting thing I had forgotten about touring (to those who do not know this, the last time I did a bus and truck was '99---and it was not a sleeper bus)---is how accomplishing lil mundane things become borderline a quest, or something really exciting to try and conquer. Things like: getting to a Walgreens or Wal-Mart or getting laundry done. YA GOTTA PLAN AND PLOT THIS STUFF OUT! So next time you run out to pick something up at the store.....well, enjoy it---because it is the lil things we kinda live for! Jeez, I have only been out for a week.....and I talk like I am hitch hiking through Europe! As I say this---it is a small price to pay for the tour life! OK---sleep needed....FREE BREAKFAST---and a work out should happen!
