Okay----so if anyone read my last blog---I mentioned how the lil mundane things that everyone does everyday get taken for granted when you are in this situation.....case in point----it was a pretty easy day---6 hours on the bus.....and it went pretty fast.....but my big quest for tonight has been to get my freakin' laundry done----and with a whopping ONE machine for the entire hotel....and what I hear is a CRAPPY DRYER...so, I have a big pile of damp clothes waiting for someone to get their stuff out (I even left a nice note saying "please call me when you are done)---I figure it is polite to wait another half hour, then their stuff is going out and on top....so I will be up awhile.
Also, my bud Kristin, our sound engineer thought it was funny that none of the pics on my blog match where we have been....well, I cannot seem to master the art of posting my own pics to KILROY, and it won't let you post until you choose a pic....so Kilroy has their own---and yep---none of them match where we are----so check out that nice beach----not there, but it's nice, huh?
So, yes today was our first day trip.....and I have settled into the bus routine.....except like a moron I need to remember that raising up too high means you will clonk yourself in the noggin'! I spent most of the day hovering in my bunk (also, we refer to it as YOUR COFFIN.....ya kinda feel like it is your own lil one)----I finished a movie, ONCE (nice lil slow romance with great music) started on IRON MAN 2--still trying to read THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO---like it---but been on it since early August---so for me, it ain't a page turner.
So, yes, stayed in tonight.....but wanna gear up for double tomorrow---and then some REALLY LONG ASS BUS DAYS! And yes, I do need to get my pics up on FACEBOOK......OK, let's see if someone was considerate....or if I ]have to take their crap out myself!

TIm Salamandyk NIkki, I am living vicarariously through you. Love hearing about your travels. Keep blogging. I cannot believe you are on a bus with bunks! That is so rock n roll. Or at least big-hair country. PS I can't get into Dragon Tatoo either.......
Tracy Schwab Glad you found help with your dryer situation. Days where you can find a laundromat are the best...makes you rethink how sucky the laundromat is when you're taking it for granted! Enjoy the bus days...I wrote lots of letters, read tons of books, and caught up on all kinds of movies. Anytime the bus stops...GET OFF OF IT and walk around. You can thank me later for that tip. And LABEL your pictures asap. I couldn't tell you where half of mine were taken...but then again, I can't remember the names of most of the girls in my cast. Yikes. Loves ya, lady!
